We are glad to announce that Permissionless Margin Trading Protocol OpenLeverage has been accepted into the Blockchain Program 2021/22 at CDL-Toronto.
Our Founder will be attending an intensive 2-week virtual crypto-economics bootcamp instructed by renowned thought leaders in blockchain and crypto-economics, followed by five objective-setting sessions between October and June.
CDL is a nonprofit program for seed-stage, science, and tech-based startups launched in 2012 to facilitate $50 million (CAD) in equity value creation over five years. This year, the value created by participating ventures has exceeded $12 billion.
In the past, the successful commercialization of cutting-edge science and technology achieved through CDL has already led to over CAD 8 billion in equity value.
Being selected by Creative Destruction Labs will help OpenLeverage obtain more significant influence in Canada and the United States and receive more constructive opinions from expert advisers. The joint strength will also play an essential role in OpenLeverage’s next round of fundraising.
Recently, OpenLeverage has received more than USD 1.8 million in seed round financing. Signum and LD Capital led the investment. We also received continuous support from FBG Capital, YBB Foundation, and Continue Capital.
