OpenLeverage Partners with Code4rena for Audit Contest to Enhance Security Measures

Since our inception, OpenLeverage has been committed to developing a permissionless lending and margin trading protocol with aggregated DEX liquidity, enabling traders to long and short any trading pair on DEXs efficiently and securely. In that pursuit, the team has always put security and stability at the forefront of the protocol’s development.

The security of the OpenLeverage protocol is the project’s highest priority. Our development team, alongside third-party auditors and consultants, has invested considerable effort to create a protocol that we believe is safe and dependable.

OpenLeverage has completed rigorous testing on all of its smart contracts. Ahead of the project’s mainnet launch in December 2021, the team open-sourced its code and passed two audits by well-known auditors Certik and Peckshield. It also held a Bug Bounty Program in 2021, which followed the OWASP risk rating methodology.

Now that it’s a new year, we have an exciting announcement.

We’re excited to introduce OpenLeverage’s 2022 Audit Contest in collaboration with Code4rena!

To continue developing the most secure DeFi trading platform, we have partnered with Code4rena, a community-based smart contract auditor and a team of security professionals that provides audit content for projects.

Audit Contest Details

Differing from other types of Bug Bounty Programs, the rewards will be evenly distributed among all users who find a verifiable bug. For example, if two users find two different bugs, then those two users will evenly split the 71,250 USDT main award pot.

More details about the Audit Contest, along with all of OpenLeverage’s documentation, can be found here.

OpenLeverage’s continued improvement depends on suggestions from our community, and we will strive to make changes that will benefit the community. We believe security is the most important thing for our users and hope that with this Audit Contest, we can continually improve our project to better serve those who use our protocol.
